Desalination Plants for Sale

Used and refurbished 7,000 m3/day (77,000 gallons/hour) water desalination plant for sale. Three (3) plants available. The plant runs ultrafiltration followed by reverse osmosis. The plant was built in 2010, shut down in 2013, and underwent complete refurbishment in 2016. Currently idled for quick shipment. Water product specifications: Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) 35,000 mg/L - 45,000 mg/L, Silt Density Index (SDI) < 10, recovery/rejection 35-45% / 98%, pH 4-10, temperature 20-40 degree C. The plant equipment is containerized for easy transportation and set-up. The core RO desalination unit includes 3 containers with the SWRO membrane skids (28 pressure vessels per skid with 7 membrane elements each) and one container with the LP booster (with VFD), high pressure pump, energy recovery devices (8 PX 220 units) and PX energy recovery booster pump (with VFD). The plant needs power supply of 11 KV, 50 Hz, 3 phase. Technical services such as installation and commissioning may be available.

Used seawater desalination plant consisting of six (6) process units, each unit 2,880 m3/day. Thermal Desalination with Mechanical Vapor Compression (MVC) technology used for seawater. MVC unit is a reliable, cost-effective desalination solution for power plants, refineries, process industries. Dozens of power plant with critical need for stable and reliable sources of process water have MVC desalination units as an affordable, low-maintenance, workhorse desalination solution. Plant commissioned in 2000, shut down in 2018.

Used 278,800 GPH Desalination Plant. The facility includes RO desalting unit, main switchgear, control room, reject/waste transfer sump, pipe rack, cartridge filters, pretreatment filters, and product stabilization and transfer. The critical process section is the reverse osmosis (RO) desalting unit.

Used 27,000 LPH Desalination Plant, designed and built by GEA Niro Kestner SA, 1998, shutdown 2006, material of construction titanium. The plant was designed to remove salt and recover product from the waste stream. Feed rate to the plant is approx 27,000 Litres/hr, evaporator consumes approx 8600 kgs/hr of steam. The unit comprises of a triple effect evaporative-crystallizer unit functioning under vacuum including forced circulation crystallizers of the MSMPR type; a finisher in order to extend the capacity of the crystallization unit and obtain a significant increase of the organic concentration contained in the final extracts of the mother liquor; a section where the feed solution undergoes a pre-treatment, comprising of a pre-heater and a flash tank; a washing and dewatering section of the NaCl crystals; a section for the dissolution of the NaCl crystals
