Unused, never-installed 2,000 Kg/Hr spray dryer plant designed by SiccaDania for hydrolyzed animal protein powder. The plant includes feed system, spray dryer system, big bag packaging system and CIP system. Primary data: feed rate 5,450 kh/hr, total solids in feed 35%, temperature of feed 79 °C, water evaporation 3,442 Kg/Hr, powder production 2,000 kg/hr, moisture in powder 5%. In the feed system, high pressure of up to 250 bar is used by 5 atomization nozzles. The spray dryer system is equipped with main air handling system and adsorption dehumidifier which enhance the plant performance in summer. The plant’s air powder separation system consists of two parallel high efficiency SiccaDania VTK cyclones. The spray dryer plant is designed for CIP cleaning of all areas getting in contact with powder. The CIP liquids will be supplied from the CIP system at the required concentration, flow, pressure and temperature and pressure. SiccaDania Daniatech Double Bigbag filling system (BBF), with 4 lifting straps is filled with bulk density of 0.4 – 0.7 kg/L according to load cells signal. Filling speed up to 10 bags per hour. Chang-over time 2 -3 minutes.
