Unused and never installed electrolysis cells (electrolyzers) for ion exchange membrane bi-polar electrolysis process to produce 52.8 TPD of 100% caustic soda (note: 165 TPD at 32% caustic soda solution). Model nx-BiTAC 842 manufactured by ThyssenKrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers (Japan) Ltd. in 2015. Zero gap technology developed in 2013, reduce cell voltage and minimize gas stagnation. Low power consumption less than 2,020 kwh/ton NaOH.
