Buying and Selling Unused, Used and Reconditioned Steam Turbines

A steam turbine generator works by having steam forced past a rotor. These turbine blades spin and rotate the shaft in the generator thus producing electricity.

The steam may be created by either directly heating water - or by gathering steam from another system, like a gas turbine, and forcing that steam to generate more power. Once used, the lower-power steam is released into the atmosphere - where is dissapates and cools.

Major manufacturers of Steam Turbines include Elliot, Dresser Rand, BBC, Murray Turbomachinery, GE Energy, Allis, Clayton Steam, Arani Power, Alstom, Siemens, Skinner Power Systems, Allen Steam Turbines, Doosan Steam Turbines, Cholaturbo CTMI Steam Turbines, Shin Nippon, Kessels Steam Turbines, AB Industrial, Bradken Steam Turbines and many others.
