Description

Used 46,000 TPY Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) Plant. The process uses propylene, ammonia and sulphuric acid to produce 125,000 TPY acrylonitrile (ACN) and 110,000 TPY ammonium sulphate. Then, the ACN reacts with acetone to generate 47,000 TPY acetoncyanhydrine (ACH). The ACH reacts with hydrocyanic acid (HCN) and methanol to produce final product Methyl Methacrylate (MMA).
