Process Details:

In the Wet Spinning processes, the dissolved polymer

of 900 tons/yr with

(spinning solution) is spun into a coagulation bath. In

a denier of 160-1200

the process the coagulant insoluble polymer solidifies,

and the spinning solvent is carried off by the coagulant.

As in the dry spinning, the individual filaments are

cemented to a multifilament. After the filament has

passed through a wash bath and over heated drying

godet roles, finish is applied and the filament is wound

up.

It includes 4 yarns per winder position, with a weight of

bobbin from 1-3 kg. The wet spinning frame was used

as a pilot plant for the production of wet spun filament

yarn. Much of the plant was never used.
