Overview

Liquid Waste Incinerator system. Vertica, l refractory lined, fuel oil and natural gas fired 1200-1400 degrees C operating temperatures. Dimensions: 12'8" OD x 21' toll with a combustion chamber volume of 1017 cubic foot. Refractory materials are Alusite D alumina Brick, Woodland brick, H-W castable 26, A.P. Mizzous castable & corolite. The natural gas burner is made by North American model 4514-8 A, 6" gas burner with c/w tile and alloy nozzle piece with 20% increased air capacity @ 12 PSI- 44000 SCFH. With quench system used to cool the exhaust gas from 1400 to 84 degrees C. Model WAF-114 wetted approach fixed throat quench hourglass shaped vessel with quench tank is used. Vessel is made of 1/2" Hastelloy C2000, 6" lining Novacon 95, carbon brick refractory with carbon paste mortar. Absorber condenser which is a packed bed design removes the hydrogen chloride HCL, hydrogen fluoride HF, sulfur dioxide SO2 and chlorine CL2 from cooled gas stream after leaving the quench system. The cooler is APV Crepaco model TR9GN plate heat exchanger made of Hastelloy C276 with a surface of 1201 square foot. Evaporator cooling tower system used to cool the absorber-condenser consists of a plate heat exchanger and an evaporative cooling tower. Tower made by Marley model Sigma 1211, induced draft cross flow one cell unit. Electrostatic precipitator consists of a two stage Ionizing Wet Scrubber Ceilcote model 1000. Removal gas efficiency: 99.9%. It is designed for 7500 ACFM @ 43 degrees C (inlet gas) and purge air of 600 ACFM. The IWS consists of two sections: a high voltage, 30kV, ionizing section and a Tellerette packed section. Compressed air is supplied by an Ingersall Rand model XF150-SSR, 739 CFM @ 128 PSI packaged air compressor with coolant cooler, separator tank, inlet air filter, moisture separator, after cooler.
