Used Bowen Engineering Semi-Works stainless steel spray dryer. Model "B". Serial # BE-347. The drying chamber is 54" in diameter with a 120" straight side height and 44" deep cone for 175 cuft. The chamber has a 24" x 24" access hatch at both top and bottom of straight side. The hatches have a 2" x 12" glass window. The unit is equipment with a fountain type atomizer with a variety of tips for different spray patterns. The gas air burner, rated for 1000 btu/cuft, has a 1" infeed line. The burner supplies inlet temperatures of up to 750° F. The heated air is circulated by a Buffalo Forge 10 hp centrifugal blower. There is also a 22" diameter x 60" tall stainless steel cyclone for collecting the finished fine product. The dryer is also equipped with an air scrubber. Overall dimensions with burner, collection cyclone, scrubber, blower, stand and duct work is 11' long x 6' wide x 19.5' tall. Requires 230/460 vac 3 phase electrical and 70 psi pneumatic supplies.
